I just aquired these Chevy II front and rear bumper guards and I need to know if these will fit all 68-72. These are in the org boxes with all the attaching hardware and instruction sheed dated 3-68. I tried doing a search and the #'s do not come up. The fronts are p/n 993532 and the rears are p/n 987179

There are 2 types of 68-72 Nova bumber guards. The small, thin type (desirable) and the big, boxed, Taxi cab type nobody wants. Both types should fit all 68-72 Novas as only the front directional light had changes

Thanks, These are definitely the desireable ones. Why do these part #'s not come up in a search, is it an early #?

The part numbers are accessory part numbers and if you do not have the right books they are very hard to find.

I know that the rear ones are the desireable ones, I think 68-72

Are there tall vs short versions? A vendor at Carlisle was telling me that he had the 'tall' ones and therefore they were worth more money.

The tall ones look like they belong on taxi cabs.....
