I'm nearing the end of the bodywork stage on my 69 Nova and I wanted to change the color combo of the car but still keep the original interior color. The car was originally Code 53 Glacier Blue with a Code 50 Dover White roof. I wanted to change the colors to Code 28 Fathom Blue and Code 25 Astro Blue.
I'm having a real hard time deciding wether or not to take it back to the original colors. It was a plain Jane 230 6cyl with a Torque drive trans. (Long gone) It also has the custom exterior package, rear trim panel, upper and lower rocker moldings, window frame moldings, and the paint divider or vinyl top molding. I have never seen a two tone blue Nova in the affor mentioned color combo, even though I know that they are 70 Colors going onto a 69. Any pictures of either combos would be appreciated or any links to websites or pics would be appreciated. Thanks, NovaJed

I just did a quick Google Images search and found these. Is this about what you are talking about?
![]() ![]() I think I may be partial to the one with the light roof (not the wheels) and this is loser to what the car had originally, right? |

Paul, thats about what I have been seeing. Tommy's Nova is about the closest I've seen to being what my 69 was originally. I kinda like his, but am still partial to the Fathom blue like on the Roof's Deuce.
And Schoney, I have thought about that as well. I just can't seal the deal.

Its such a hard decision. Did I forget to mention that it's getting a stinger hood with a Pontiac hood tach?

You know what? I'd paint it the color <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="text-decoration: underline"></span>you</span> like. That way, you'll be in love with it every time you walk into the garage.
Take care man. Wayne ('sled) |

You cannot beat that original color combo. It`s a classic!
I have a Chevelle that I have owned since 1977, It`s been painted 3 times all different colors and it`s going to be repainted again one day, back to it`s original color. Dan
