I just removed the seat from my 19,000 mile survivor Camaro to take the wood blocks out from under the seat. The blocks look to have been in their since new, don`t know about the shotgun shell.

That must have been the rare ejection seat option with blow-off bolts.

possibly owned by a short person that needed the seat to be higher?
shot gun shells are frequently found loose in cars, so are matchbooks, petrified french fries, gas receipts, gum wrappers, etc. It might make a good thread on what is the most UNUSUAL item found under the seats ...

We had that thread here a couple years back!. Strangely enough it starts with someone altering the seat mounting of a '69 Camaro too!. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...865&page=1 ~ Pete

A FEW YEARS AGO A FRIEND OF MINE FOUND 5 CRISP 1969 $20 BILLS IN AN UNMARKED WHITE ENVELOPE TUCKED UP IN THE DASH OF HIS 1969 CHEVELLE. A NICE LITTLE BONUS!

I found the classified/funnies section of the Cincinnati Enquirer under the front carpet of my '69 Camaro. The car is a 6A car with the paper dated Jun 6th, 1969. I guess I have its birthday within a day or so.
