Default Off idle sneeze

Been having a issue with the ZL-1 in my Malibu. ANything under 1500 RPM anb a good stab of the throttle will result in a misfire thru the carb. I need to gently roll out of the hole then stab the throttle. Timing is 19 initial, 18 in the dist. ALso will sneeze when you slow down and then get back into the throttle easy. Any ideas?? already have installed new plugs, new oil, Eric just did my carb, MSD dist new wires..HELP!!

thanks
ALbert

ALbert;

I never heard back from you on Friday. What did you come up with on the trim screws?

Call me tomorrow afternoon and I'll try to help you get this thing dialed in.

Eric

OK...got her running good now!!..first time I have felt the converter when the car leaves ..problem wound up being that the carb..a 850DP is just too big for the little 427..went to a smaller 750DP and it runs real good..thanks to all that offered help and opinions

Dan..ready for Music city!!
