Default 69 Velle tire sticker on door

I want to replace the one on my SS. Do all the suppliers sell the same item or is there one that is more correct than others. Mine currectly is coded DW. Appreciate it.

Don,

I have two pictures here. One of the repop DW sticker for a BB 4spd std suspension Chevelle. The other is off a survivor (lemans blue) 69 SS, auto, bench, F41 suspension.

I can't tell what the two letter code is on the F41 car, maybe someone has a build sheet out there with an F41 suspension that could let us know the code. The part numbers on the two stickers are different. I'm guessing that the repop DW sticker is not totally acurate, but I'm not sure. Just thought I'd share what info I have.

I have a build sheet for a `69 Velle L34 with F40 suspension that shows DC as the label code.
Another `69 sheet without F40, also an L34, shows DC, while another sheet for an L78 with COPO conversion shows FS.

Man Don, you sure do know how to make me miserable. What box is the tire sticker in, on the 69 build sheet. The sticker shows passenger capacity too, so obviously a 69 ElCamino would be different. Thats assuming no bed passengers are aloud. If you stuck a kid in the back of the bed these days, like we did as kids, it would probably be considered, child abuse.

Oops. The one picture of the original door sticker didn't make it. Here it is again. This is a 396/350hp, auto, ac car with F41 suspension.

Not to upstage Don but since I'm here, box 105 has the tire pressure code.
You're right Bill that the El Camino should have a different code.

Thanks Rick. Thats what I thought. Box 105 on my build sheet is one of the few boxes I can't read. I didn't want to hijack Don's post, but if anyone knows what the 69 ElCamino sticker is suppose to look like, I like to know too.

Sorry Bill, I am not purposely trying to give you nightmares

As usual Rick you are able to supply some valued information. Thanks.

Great pictures Phil, thanks. I’ve put them side by side below for comparison purposes. You can see some subtle differences between the two if you study them closely. I wonder if the F41 decal was the only one that got the “Optional” pressures????? It would appear to me that these codes were similar to the spring codes, that being there were different ones for various option weights and suspension components.

Wonder if somebody out there has the two digit alpha code for an F41 Coupe? I would guess all the various codes are not available from the suppliers, but I may check some of their listings. No sense replacing the one I have if a correct one is not being made.

Appreciate the responses guys. Any further input is welcome.

According to a build sheet response over on Team Chevelle the code I'm looking for is "BC". According to Dennis Cumby there could be a difference between the 69 and 70 "BC" decal. It may very well be the 69 decals came wtih "F70-14-4 PR" while the 70 decals got "F70-14-B". The Osborne BC reproduction has "F-70-14-B". Are we nuts to worry about all this little stuff
