Default A day at the track

Friday, what a fun day.

Rob and I getting ready to battle, first time for me to drive the 2010, I guess the drag strip is as good as place as any .

Rob doing his signature burnout, in the new Yenko.

Red Alert reaching for the sky, with me along for the ride.

Our Nova in Day II/race trim.

Rob with his youngest son Drew riding shotgun, heating up the hides.

The older Clary boys going at it, Jon in the 2010, Rob in the '69.

The younger Clary boys, Drew and Kade, behind the wheel of the '69. They look to be having as much fun as their dads and granddad did at the track.

The old, but as in life, give the new a little time to mature and the next time they tangle could be different. Will not be easy though for the new, as I feel even though Rob really digs the 2010, his heart and soul rides with the '69, thus will not be easy.

When it's all said & done, I think it'll be close (on street tires)...my guess is it'll come down to the fact that we've literally got several hundreds of passes under our belt in the '69. With some practice, and drag radials, I don't see why mid-11s aren't doable in the '10...if we can only find a driver...

Or at least one of us that is smart enough to turn the traction control off.
