Wonder where they came up with those *supposed* production numbers?

I am pretty sure code 65 Flame Orange was a standard Camaro color, so what makes this a COPO
I don't git it

Wrong spoiler, wrong wheels, wrong door panels, wrong stripes (should not have them), wrong air filter housing... I am sure there are more things incorrect on it. It is a nice car, but that sure does not make it 1 of 8.

I always love it when an E-Bay seller immediately insults you, calling you a "non educated looker".

<font color="blue">
- TO MAKE IT CLEAR TO THE NON EDUCATED LOOKERS
- IT HAS A NON MODIFY BONE STOCK ENGINE
- PRYOR OWNER
- A ALLUMINIUM MANIFOLD
- SOLD IN CALIFORNIA WHERE IT STAY TILL 1986
- WHEN THE SECOND OWNER PURCHASE IT,SINCE THEN IT HAS BEEN A SOUTHER CAR.
</font>

All I got out of this is that Richard Pryor once owned the car, the engine is stock, it has an all-luminum manifold, "it done stayed out west", and it's a souther car, so maybe JD Souther from the rock band The Eagles once owned it?

It's still a nice car. I've noticed that an awful lot on ebay is an original, copo, z28, ss, or "1 of xx" It's harder to find a plain jane car on there.

Darren...I checked 2 different sources and code 65 Flame Orange was a standard color available on any Camaro in 1972.

LOL

Hooked on Phonics member

"THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1 OF ONLY 8 1972 CAMARO SS SPECIAL ORDER OR (COPO)FLAME ORANGE CODE 65 ,TO MAKE IT CLEAR TO THE NON EDUCATED LOOKERS IN 1972 THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 6562 Z-27 SS PACKAGES SOLD OUT OF THOSE 970 WERE LS3 (396) 5584 WERE L-48 OR THE K CODE AND THE REST THAT TOTAL 8 WERE SPECIAL ORDERS (COPO) THIS IS ONE OF THOSE 8. "

Let's do the math again

6562 Z27 SS Camaros

-970 LS3 SS Camaros
-----
5592 L48 SS Camaros

it all ads up, where did the 8 come from? Better yet, where does he get the L48 production number from?

failrly amusing to try to read the illiterate posting, but hey, I am not going to buy it

Jim, somebody paid 14k for it. If it runs as well as it looks in the photos, they got a nice car for a good price.
"Well Bought", as they say at the auctions.
