Default L-78 detail question

It's been brought to my attention, that the alt wire, and perhaps the neg battery cable, should be strapped to one or both heater hoses in a 69 Chevelle. It's a detail I haven't done yet, so I'm also wondering how this detail should look. Thanks, BR

Bill, these are pictures of Grady's unrestored 69 COPO Chevelle.. Looks like only the alternator wires were strapped. The negative cable is mounted down on the pass. head, don't think that one was strapped.. Hope this helps.. Rich...

Bill, maybe Grady Burch can help. He has a survivor COPO 69 Chevelle. OOPS, Rich beat me to it!

Thanks guys. That's what I needed. Love those survivor pictures. When I was doing my 68 Chevelle, I looked at Dave Dodds one owner/never been apart survivor L-78 68 Chevelle. I must have a hundred pics of that car. A bit different from 69, with the short w/p set-up though.

Bill
You have this one on the A.I.R. hose and vacuum hose ? Not 100% sure on a Velle, check your Assy. Manual.

OK, Another small piece of the puzzle. Albert walked into my shop today with a grin on his face, and the strap in hand. Five mins later it was under the hood. Also got the front end alignment today. Only 3 weeks till we depart for Nashville.
