Next time you complain about the cost of painting your car consider the cost of painting this thing.

The last Lear 60, corporate jet, I was involved with 5 or 6 years ago was above 40K.....I guarantee you would not paint a 747 for 100K. I cannot even guess what it would cost.

That must add a lot of weight to the plane. I would think they would strip it prior to repaint.
