Default Sun Distributor Tester

A friend of mine has a vintage Sun Model 400 distributor tester that he uses quite a bit. A couple days ago he was using it and one of the lights went out and the machine started smoking. He thinks a transistor went bad. I know a few members here have some of these vintage machines. Do you know a place that repairs them or that sells parts?
Thanks, James

There's a place in Michigan that sells parts & reconditions them...lemme guess, the strobe quit?

I have a couple of old King Distributor Machines, one of which works. It would be nice to find parts for them too. I also bought an old King ignition "tester". It had a brand new "Patent Pending R" distributor cap on it. I basically got that machine for free.

Do you know the name of the place or have a phone number for them? Yes, it is the strobe that quit.
Thanks, James

I'll have to see if I can find the guy who I bought mine from. He was in Ohio. Purchased two from him over the years and he restores them. I'll se what I can find.

This is where I'd start:

Mark Saunders
Ph. # 616 878 9734

I've gotten a couple copies of Sun manuals from him in the past...seems like he had 35+ old Sun distributor machines at the time?
