Yenko experts -im looking for some help please.
I have a 69 HO 4sp, black vinyl top 69 yenko camaro car. The car was built 02D as an X11 car. It was shipped from Yenko Chev to Bud Gates Chev, Mishawaka, IN on 4/23/1969. I have the shipping document from yenko chev that states my car was shipped to Bud Gates, date shipped and date MSO was sent. It also states the amount paid, which was 3886.50 . What im trying to determine are the RPO's the car had when shipped by trying to figure the base car cost plus the options to sum up to 3886.50. Does anyone have any historical pricing info that i can use that they have with their early yenko car or otherwise that i can back into this number? Any help would be appreciated ![]()

Ed,
I'd start with liquid tire chain if I were you. Seemed a bunch of them had 'em. ![]()

Ed, my Rallye Green car was similar to yours in that it's X11 style trim, vinyl top, 4 spd, but also had power steering, Z23 interior and guages. It was sold at Yenko, but there's no specific breakout for options or accessories listed on the Yenko Invoice or Order Form. The net price was $4550.00, tax $216, tag/title $8 for a drive out of $4774.00
I can email you a copy of the invoice if you want. ![]() |

http://www.camaros.org/pdf/options.pdf lists all the options and $. I can't recall how closely Yenko priced things compared to the MSRP. And there's the tax and fee issue too...
Never seen any Yenko with liquid tire chain, btw.

Jude and Kurt - thanks for the responses. I did use the CRG data to develope a scenerio listed below. One key question, the price on my document i have - where it shows the car was shipped from Yenko Chev to Bud Gates and a price. The document is a delivery schedule GM acceptance corporation, mailed from Yenko Chevy and is titled "Delayed Payment Privilege for New Floor Plan Units" . The question that i have - would the amounts listed (3886.50) be a retail price amount or dealer cost amount. If its dealer cost amount, then the 3886.50 should be raised by about 19-20%, making the car 4663.00 retail value.
Here is what i worked up using CRG RPO prices (not cost). Price standard coupe 2727 dest charge 64 ( cannonsburg pa ? guess) RPO 's below m21-4 sp 195.4 am radio 0 no radio Vinyl Top 84.3 9561 copo 489.75 pwr disc brakes 64.25 9737 sports car conv 160.1 z21 style trim group 47.4 z23 interior grp 17.95 d80 spoilers 32.65 Total car and options 3882.8 Shippers cost on my doc 3886.5 delta 3.7 (possible delta in the dest charge - i need a real 69 dest charge to cannonsburg to fine tine this.) Kurt and Jude - what do you or others think? Would this be a correct option order configuration and what a window sticker would say from what we know about the car today? Kurt - i think Sam was kidding around :-)

I thought all the Yenkos were ordered with AM radio, and then ol' Don added the radio to his sticker price, too, and stuck and extra $48 in his pocket.

I really dont know, but in my scenerio i deleted it to see if i came close to the dealer to dealer invoice amount. I'd appreciate any insight to this - if its true, then ill have to reconfigure the scenerio.

Any of the members that owns a 69 yenko camaro - can i please get your thoughts on the above?
Some of the questions that come to mind for me are: 1)Has anyone seen the document i described? Is seems to financial arrangement for a floor plan financing with GMAC - so would this be independent of any special Yenko type markup? 2) Is it true that all 69 yenko cars came with an AM radio as standard? 3) Does anyone have any detail to their car and options and prices that i can use to help define my car and options? I appreciate all input and mostly your time.

Yes all 1969 Yenko Camaros were ordered with the AM radio. No known radio delete cars have been documented.
