Default 69 Charger R/T

I have a friend looking for a 69 Charger R/T.
Car should have its "born with motor" or at least a nuts on date coded correct one.
MUST be an R/T
Should be nice driver or better with no major issues.
Should be a big block car.

Please contact me if you know of one, this person is a serious buyer with cash for the right car.

JOHN

Dear Johnny. Tri-Pod,
Please define "nuts on". Is that a legal description?

FYI: there were only 2 engines available for the 69 R/T and the 500: the 440 Magnum 4bbl and the 426 Hemi 8bbl. Just a slight price difference between the two. You could not get an R/T-SE with anything but the 440 Magnum in 1969. (That prohibition changed in 70 though)

There weren't any non-big block engines in the R/T. Other engines for the base model and the SE were the 225 6 cyl (very rare), the 318 and the 383 2 and 4bbl.

Hey John

I like to see how fast you can find a 69 Charger RT 4 speed Super Drag Pac in a good color !!

Might be a little easier with the Mopar market but in the past you could never find one without issues..
To many people playing "Bullitt" with those cars.
I have seen them sell in the 60-70+ range.. Wish ya luck..

Steve, thanks for the engine clarification with "R/Ts" I'll file that in the Mopar corner of my brain.
Rich P, in this case, the man's desire for a car like this definately makes it tough, however he does not need a 4 sp,nor a supertrack pack............so his chances increase nicley.

have found a few, just seeing what else is out there.......

Bimbi....."nuts on" is a few steps better than "Nuts off"...........and includes full contact....
