Default REPRO PF OIL FILTER THREAD SEARCH

Can't seem to locate the thread from a few months ago about the PF oil filters being reproduced by GM. Looking for the correct (or close) oil filter for my '69 COPO. Thanks.

GM parts direct had them listed as "on hold" for some reason, but I just got an e-mail from them that they had been finally released and they were filling back orders. That's a great price from your Delco rep; GMPD lists dealer cost as $15.40 and LIST as $25.72.

Good Luck, BCD.

Prices for this particular filter seem to be all over the board, depending on who you talk to.One of the local Chevy dealers here said he ordered 40 of them months ago from Delco, only to return them all right back to Delco. Why,he couldn't/wouldn't say so I really don't know what that means...Economy down, final appearence poor, cost higher then quoted or functional design problem were my guesses.Maybe they have 8 smaller holes on top like Rob mentioned earlier,as oppossed to the original design having the 5 broader ones.I know they are all smooth on the bottom, not embossed script like the originals had.
He did tell me to watch eBay if I wanted to get below his price as it's seems a few guys bought massive quatities of these filters below cost and are just now receiving them & willing to sell for much less because of that.
Here's another eBay auction that ended below the price I was quoted with probably more coming shortly..

Paragon Corvette has been selling their own reproduction of this filter, with 5 inlet holes under part #2137 for $20 for sometime now.
