That’s a tough threat to make good on in the short term, considering he has no other North American manufacturing location.

With the rapid expansion of Space X centered in Texas, the regulatory and cost comparisons for conducting business are ripe for evaluation.

When the production savings of the move exceed the cost of continuing to operate in California I think it will be a done deal.

I don’t disagree in the long term, but the model 3/Y volume expectations will mean CA production will continue for at least a few more years.
