Default Garage/shop parking mats/tiles?

Just finished up the floor in the display part of our shop...are y'all parkin' your cars on anything special? Like a mat, or tiles, or carpet, or...?? I've seen a couple posts where folks have said that tires parked for a prolonged time will leave a mark even on treated floors...

That's true. I'd recommend something under the tires to prevent staining. Sent you a PM.

Joey: how big are your tiles? I thought about putting a single tile under each tire, but wasn't sure a 12x12 would catch the whole tire? Especially on our big tire cars! LOL!! But I wanna do something...reckon it will stain through the carpet? That's a good idea too...

MikeA: I'll try and grab some tonight...it won't ever be this clean again! LOL!!

The tiles themselves are 12x12, but i laid them out in a 4 tile pattern, making each part of the checkered pattern 24"x24". I think you could get the contact patch of anything but a giant tire to fit within one 12"x12" tile.

Here's a shot from the walk-in door in the wall seperating the 60x60 "showroom" from the 40x60 "shop" area [would be directly behind me from this viewpoint]...oh, please excuse the lime green masking tape around the edge still!

And here's a shot from the 12x12 overhead door in the seperating wall...
