69 Hugger Orange Copo?? in Knight Rider movie

I was watching the old Show Knight Rider with the Black Transam "Kit" and there was a 69 Hugger Orange Camaro with a rear Bowtie Emblem on the rear panel?? It was in a race scene with some local drag racers. I never remember seeing that show, but didn't know what a Copo was back then either. Doe anyone know anything about this car??
