Any tips for installing the rear cover gasket on a 12 bolt chevy.? Used a cheesey gasket and appears to have an apparent leak. Thanks

take a cookie and smaller hand grinder and clean the diff cover and diff housing gasket surface. it will leak all day long without proper cleaning.

I use brake cleaner to dry the surfaces and lots of Permatex red gasket spray on both sides of the gasket. No leaks yet.
