1969 Camaro Yenko Radiator Help

What color paint was used on the original radiators in 69? I got a new bent neck one from Rick's First Gen and the color is very glossy. Is this the way the were orginally or were they semi gloss black. Got a brand of paint that works well on these. Thanks.
