I have conflicting information about this. Does anyone have a Norwood survivor car they can check to see if the front fender shims at the A Pillar are plated silver zinc/CAD or black manganese?
Thanks, Jim |

I thought I read that they were natural, but I can't find where I read that. I'll see if I can find that...Joe

My experience is virtually all were black.
I had a bag full of them, scavenged from parts cars many years ago. Mostly 69s built at Norwood. It was common to see more than one type of acceptable plating listed on an engineering drawing.
