I removed what was left of my heater box on my 69 Camaro Stock eliminator and am covering up the large firewall hole with a reproduction delete plate.
The problem, which I am running into, is that the top left hole on the delete plate, as viewed from the engine compartment, lands right in the middle of the upper heater hole piercing. Is that piercing not present, when the heater delete option is specified? I even made a template with both sets of holes, so the delete place would sit exactly where the original heater box would be. I have a few ideas on how to deal with this, but I am sure that some members here have more experience than I. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
