Did the insurance company pay off 100% or did the owner only get a partial re-payment? A good lawyer should be able to represent her and her position defending her on whatever money she lost due to the theft. I had a friend that was able to get ownership of a stolen Corvette after it was recovered due to the insured not being 100% compensated by the insurance company.
