I threw in a bid, never really expecting to buy this 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Indy Pace Car SURVIVOR!

Very nice! But I've got a question: Do you know if the spoiler is documented to have been installed in the factory or dealership? Because the spoilers were not supposed to be available for the ragtops.

Is anyone headed north from Florida (to anywhere north of there) with an empty spot in a trailer?
It won't be easy to get that car up to Alberta, Canada.

I know Oldsmobiles pretty well and I looked at this car closley yesterday on ebay. I liked the no Air Conditioning, I'd also prefer bucket seats. The car has the ram air hood and the whole car appears very original.
I bought a '72 442 on ebay the exact same way, "I couldn't get it at this price", but I did. It was a wonderful car. I wouldn't buy another car that way again. I think you'll be OK.

[img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif[/img] I used TFX to get the Firebird here from British Columbia and was quite pleased with them (other than the problem with the former broker they used for my transaction, who dropped the ball on getting the proper US Customs stamp on the paperwork). But TFX even refunded my brokerage fees for having to go through that hassle. I was most impressed with their handling of that problem.
