Default 1968 Chevelle driveshaft

Restoring a 1968 Chevelle 396/350hp TH400.Does anybody know the number and color of the stripes on the driveshaft.Thanks

Steve...Those driveshaft stripe colors are on the build sheet. Chances are you don't have the build sheet, b/c most of the 68 Chevelle build sheets were not stuck in the car, like some other yrs. I found a survivor and got the colors from it, but my 68 is a 4 speed. Yours would have different colors. Not much help from me. Just letting you know, whats involved with finding the info you need. Keep putting threads like this out there, and you will get an answer. As Jim suggested, try Team Chevelle. You probably won't get an answer, but it's worth a shot. Also keep an eye on the car shows. You never know.
