Does anybody know what decals came on the 1970 Nova SS inner doors? Did they come from the factory with the tire information, car data sticker and the mark of excellence reflector? If they did come on the cars does anybody know the placements? Also I know this one is going to sound dumb but were all the door hinges welded on? I do not want to do the Ford caution fan sticker mistake that drives everybody crazy.

I've only seen that reflective GM mark of excellence on pre 70 models originally.
Beginning w/70 production they used the horizontal Blue certification label w/clear overlay showing the full VIN# & assembly date typed onto it. The tire psi label would've been applied above the lower Blue certification label I believe. I think early assemblies got welded on hinges, with later receiving bolt on,but I could be wrong... |

Were these on the doors or the door frame?

Rick is correct regarding the decal usage and placement, no reflective GM decals on '70's (or '69's for that matter, I think they stopped in '68'ish).
The door hinges were bolt on until approx. Jan of '70, then the door hinges became weld on's.
