As the title states... looking for the correct application for a R71S Delco Battery. make/model/year would be perfect.

Check out Antique Auto battery,they show many application. Though not listed it was used in 1970 and 1971 Olds 442. Last of the 12 inch top posts. Probably used in big block Buick and Pontiac as well.
