Default '69 L78 Camaro Driveshaft

Trying to put back the correct drivetrain in my '69 Camaro L78/M20/410BV. Question is does anyone know if Big blocks used a different driveshaft or were they all the same?

From a service replacement standpoint all 1969 Camaros with Muncie 4-speed used the same driveshaft. 67-68 Muncie 'shafts are longer.

What they used in production may have been physically the same but balanced differently for the Z/28. Some have the U-joint trunions positioned in-line; some don't. No one knows why.

There were 3 driveshafts in 69.
- manual (SB&BB) & PG
- TH350
- BB/M40

Kurt,

Do you know what the stripe color combinations for these 3 driveshafts would be?

Kurt,
What's the difference between the TH 350 propshaft and the 4 speed one? The reason I ask is that my car was a TH350 and I used what I thought was the original with my M21, and had no problems. I did install a 12 bolt, and new u-joints, but I don't remember the u-joints being special for manual tranny.
