http://news.aol.com/topnews/articles...17074709990001

we all love our hobby and the occasional burnout is part of it. i havent heard if the car was harnassed or not but if it wasnt that would of been a very tragic misplan. my condolences to the familys of the injured and deceased.

VERY SAD, i feel for all involved the number of kids killed is up to 7, there is talk all over about safety car events because of this, we haad alot of burnouts in front of berger chevy last year at the 28th street metro show and they have bean talking about it this morning on the local news, hate to be the driver of this car, this was an accident he will pay the rest of his life for....

Can't believe that they are allowing drag racing with folks standing around and no protection.

Like I said in the "other post" regarding this:

BTW, I can't understand how they got insurance to cover any potential problems that *might* have occured.

When we ran a promotion at Tempe Diablo Stadium that involved a freestyle motocross show (backflips, etc off of ramps)...we had to have concrete barriers and the water filled plastic barriers between the show particiapnts and the crowd...plus the insurance was about 8k....

SO how did this group get the go ahead to do this???
