Default VINTAGE TIRES

Who is the resident guru regarding vintage tires? Were Mickey Thompson's circa late 60's /early 70's ever available in redlines? How difficult would it be to find a good used vs. NOS pair of L70x15's? I'm suspecting it would be next to impossible-

Dreemz, there was some M/T redlines around then but are really hard to find. Ive never had a set myself. As for the L70,s you ask for I do have a pair of Mickey Thompson Raise white letter L70-15 inch MAX TRACS that are in real nice shape with lots af tread. I also have a S#@TLOAD of other rare tires that i would like to sell. PM me for my number if you are interested.

the tires that are on Dan's car are the repro tires from the 80's. You are looking for the older ones I think.

Mickey Thompson Indy Profile SS red lines, bought them on ebay. G and H 60/15 (If I remember right). They are late 70's early 80's tires. I sold the car with the wheels/tires on it.

Thanks for all the help. The car had the red lines put on it back in 1969. Wheels were 14x6 in front and 15x8.5 in the rear. Trying to figure correct tire size. Don I'll send a PM
