You can purchase a new one easily and fairly inexpensively.

Fred Oliva does excellent restorations of original clutches, but, he is always incredibly swamped with work. If you are in a hurry it may take a while. I have had several originals rebuilt by Fred with excellent results.
His contact info is www.gate.net/~foliva or 954-755-1161.

Regards,

Mark

-----Hey Mark,,,While Freds clutch-fans certainly do come back better than they were when sent out, I havent had the same luck with them. On my big-block roadster the over the counter GM replacement is a consistently better performer (and not that far off of original, looks wise) than Freds re-do of my original. Its to the point that I only use his for a judged show and the OTC for any daily driving.
-----There was a pretty good article about doing it yourself in the Driveline (NCRS) not too long ago.
-----Also remember to never store a clutch-fan sitting down or laying on its face. Always store it in close to the same position it would be on the car as the oil will leak out otherwise.........Bill S

Bill,
I have had very good luck with Fred's rebuilds, but, they have all gone on show cars that were not driven on a routine basis. I would put a new clutch on a regularly driven vehicle.
I remember the Driveline article and it was very straightforward, however, I don't have time to spit on the sidewalk much less to rebuild a clutch.
Are you going to Bloomington? Is Jack?
Regards,
Mark
