I'm pretty sure that 1.72 is the exhaust valve for early BBC closed chamber heads. The intakes were usually 2.06 or 2.19. I don't know what came with a 2.11 intake valve. Tell you what though, if those are NOS GM valves, I'd chuck them straight into a trash can. They are the reason that there are so many CE replacement engines out there. When that head snaps off that valve stem, the results are usually catastrophic. Even the cheapest Manley one piece street valves are a vast improvement.

but with a sbc valve stem diameter? The stems on these valves are the exact same as sbc. I might have measuered the intake wrong... will have to check tomorrow.

Hi Matt:
The 2.11 or 526102 I think is a pontiac standard purple intake valve for a 77-79 T/A with a 6.6l. It lists that valve as part of the 77-79 W72 Firebird performance package. I cannot find the other however. Hope that helps with one , other is probally pontiac also but the number does not jive. Joe |
