Need some help with this Gm part number it does not come up in my books. The bracket looks like a reverse lock out but not chevelle or big chevy.
Gm part number 3895290 marked trans lever and stampped 5290. What does it fit. Thanks for the help Joe |

That's a locking idler arm bracket used on:
*1967-69 Camaro w/PG trans.w/o floor console. *1968-69 Nova w/PG trans.,w/o floor console. *1968-70 Camaro-Nova w/PG trans.w/o Floor shift. *1969 Camaro-Nova w/4 SPD w/o 4bbl. *1969-70 Camaro-Nova w/3 SPD & w/4 SPD w/floor shift. *1971-74 Nova w/PG & 3 SPD w/floor control. *1973-74 Nova w/4 SPD. |

Thanks Rick that is the girl. Sorry to put you through so much trouble. It is exactly what I thought it was just for a camaro not a chevelle.Some one can use it for sure especially if I can locate the rods that it once came with.

Item #8 in the above diagram is usually very hard to find, at least originals.
