Which of the '69 COPO Camaros had the solid lifter 435 horsepower version of the 427? I thought I had read somewhere that 4-speeds came with the solid lifters and automatics came with the hydraulic lifter 425 horsepower version, but my car is a 4-speed with the 425 horsepower 427.

The COPO camaros had the L72 version, so it was rated at 425 - even though Yenko may have advertised it at it's old 1965 rating of 450.
The '67 Yenko Camaros did come in two versions - but they were not COPO's. The 4speed YC was 450hp and the a/t was 410hp, (ie; hydraulic cam version).

They didn't make the L72 427 until 66.

You don't suppose someone in the past got the 410 hp Ford 427 mixed up with a Chevy 427?
