I am looking for an original or NOS Chevrolet 396 Fan shroud for a 1967 - 1968 Camaro with the 396. If you should have one please let me know what condition it is in and what you are looking to get for it, this is for my personal car so please be merciful. I believe the original part number is 3945789. No reproductions please.
Thanks, Mike |

Not sure if the 67 is the same as a 68 but the 68 is the same for a nova and I looked for 15 years, only found one in that time. Good Luck.

The shroud is different than the Nova and it is a very hard piece to come up with I agree. I am sure somewhere out there is one for a reasonable price. Or at least I will keep dreaming there is.

NOS ones are different. They have a notch cut in them and also have a hole on the left side down low. I found three in the past year and they were all local finds. One was 50.00 One all the guy wanted was to replace it with a repro one. So that cost about 90.00 and the other came with a 67 radiator from down the street. They all have homes. So I feel very lucky on shrouds

If anyone has an original I also have a bunch of NOS Chrome that can be used for trade. RS Moldings, Wheel moldings, Headlight door moldings, etc., etc.
Also looking for 67 RS grille, original used. |
