I have found a 67 Nova 2 dr hardtop org 6 cyl. auto. that I am thinking about buying, the body is very nice for its age, there is one small hole in the trunk, and there has been some rust repair around the rear wheel openings, and the top of the fenders were repaired at one time, this car runs and drives, it is red with new custom interior. What would be a realistic price to pay for such a car. The owner has a collision and restoration shop and was going to pro street the car, but he says the car in his opinion is way too nice to cut up. I realize without pics, it is hard to determine, I didn't have my camera along when I looked at it.

One almost exactly as you describe sold at an estate sale auction here recently for $7K. One little-old-lady owner. I was surprised it went that high, but our local hot-rodders were frothing at the mouth to get it. As you can imagine, people had been pestering her for many years to sell it.
Good luck, BCD. |
