I know of no tool and have always had to either cut out the lower portion of the crossmember, rebend and reweld or pull the dent out. Not an easy task either way you do it.

You could take it to a bodyshop and tack weld some chain to it, then attach to a floor pot and jack the car to pull the dents out. All depends on how bad they are, and how easy they feel like coming out. Sometimes you get lucky....either way mark, it is not fun. Roger

Thanks guys. A friend of mine has the Corvette tool, so I am going to borrow it and see if there is any way to get it into the crossmember. On a Vette, it slips through the coil spring mount and fixes these dents so easily that is is unreal! My car is stored about an hour away, so I can't run out and check what the configuration looks like right now...

Anyone familiar with '67 Camaro sub-frames? Can you take a look at this thread from a friend's '65 Corvette and tell me if this tool will work with a Camaro??? Is there access to the cross member through the coil spring mount? Thanks in advance!
