Thanks go out to Dennis for the pictures taken last year for the 3 Gibb original owner cars. 3 different years are represented and 3 different body styles, all associated with Fred Gibb Chevrolet at the peak of the muscle car era. Too, another original owner 69 COPO Chevelle is owned by Keith Tedford.

Our car is totally apart and I've had a devil of a time finding someone to do the car. Some never got around to doing it and another wanted to do a blank check resto. The guy who painted the car in '72 is doing our el Camino. If he is still as good as he was in '72, then he will be doing the Chevelle. Not holding my breath for anything but would like to get it done so that we can get together with Ray, Dennis and other original Supercar owners for a big picture. The old original pictures that we have are pretty poor quality for a magazine. We're hoping something will get done this winter.

Just got the October 06 issue and it really did a nice tribute to all the Original owners who wrote in.The pictures and stories are incredible and worth a double read from front to back...you really feel like you're being taken back.
George says they had to reject many entires due to space limitations so look for more in the future issues,as well as contact him with your story & pix if you are one.
Well done
