I think that is somebody's creative interpretation of the classic hockey stick stripe.

I've seen something like that before. For some reason it reminds me of a Matador, Javelin, AMX????? What am I thinking of?

That's right....I remember a guy in school had a Javelin with a stripe like that, I think it was a 72?

The other thing it reminded me of was a Super Bee stripe installed backwards.
