Pics of the old world

I met some of my cousins this weekend north of Växjö, by lake Helgasjön. Not far from were we met are these castle ruins. The bishop in the area built a safehouse of stone here in the mid-fourteenth century. Then 100 years later King Gustav Vasa of Sweden made a fortress out of it.
