![]() This is the final chapter in my Yenko ownership saga. Everything you see in the first picture is basically the result of the proceeds of my Yenko Deuce sale. My wife and I are as happy as can be in our Chicago Bungalow (circa 1924 ![]() My Chevelle was shipped on 3/13/70 to Mike Savoie Chevrolet in Troy Michigan. The car has been in many states and has had many owners till it was bought by a friend of mine who wanted to upgrade to a drop top so he decided to part with it. What really sold me was the absolutely beautiful color of Astro blue which I don't believe I have ever seen on another Chevelle and with the blue interior it really makes for a striking combination. In the sun the color sparkles like a jewel The car also has some interesting features such as a factory rear defrost (which I also have never seen) and still retains its unused General spare and SS wheel. I decided to do a very mild day 2 modification with the factory size and style tires and Cragar wheels which with the color combo look awesome in my opinion. I also added a freshly polished pair of Mickey Thompson valve covers and plan to add a Sun Super Tach at a later date. There are a few incorrect things that were done that need correcting and future plans include a new master cylinder and correctly finished brake booster along with correcting the hack job someone did to the dash for an after market radio. For now I am very happy with the car and am even happier with the column shift auto as rowing the gears on the Yenko on my crowded city streets was a chore I hope you all enjoy the pictures and I even included some alley shots from behind my apartment building which I know some people liked from a different members feature. HEY! Since when do you go buying a car without making sure the guy has one for me too?
![]() BTW, It looks like we're gonna need to start a Chevelle Shootout at SCR so you can continue to collect those giant trophies. ![]()

Frank,
I hated to see you sell the Deuce but knowing what you had in store made it seem a little easier not too mention you seemed very happy about the decision which is really what counts. I never really liked a blue interior in any car but in this Chevelle it looks great and keep the Cragers, they look great as well! ![]() Rick

Frank,
Thanks for your participation in the Members Rides with your really cool blue Chevelle. I thouroughly enjoyed talking to you last year at SCR8 and watching you race your Deuce. Your Chevelle looks "just right" the way that you have it now...don't change anything. BTW, the bungalow is awesome...Hey, ![]()
