"Young Guns" Fund Raiser Car Show. Oswego Illinois

You guys might recall that we recently had a thread talking about the Camaro that Steve (LVCamaro) donated to an Illinois high school. I was just informed that they are going to have a car show at their school to raise funds for restoring the car. Details below from Guy the instructor leading the program. Let's hope the weather cooperates.

Oswego East High School Fund Raiser Car Show


I am hosting a Car Show at my school/shop on May 26th. For those who do
not
know, I am an automotive instructor, and my auto club is hosting a car
show
to raise money for our project car. You can see the car and an article
in
the June 06 Chevy High Performance mag on page 15.

The show is on Friday, May 26th from 7pm-9pm. There will be judging and
trophies, tons of cars, food, open house at our shop, and a car
smashing
fund raiser where you can smash a car with a sledge hammer and get out
all
your frustration from the work week You will also get to see our
project 69
Camaro SS and what we plan to do to it.

The show will be at Oswego East High School (1525 Harvey Rd., Oswego,
IL
60543) at the auto shop (Vocational annex). If you are interested in
showing
your car, let me know and I could give you directions and any other
info. We
need all the cars we can get. There is a $10 dollar registration fee
for all
show cars(that covers the cost of the trophies and then the remainder
is the
donation to our auto club), spectating is free.
