My first car was a '65 SS Chevelle. Loved that car
![]() It was a dead-ringer for the white SS in the ad. Don't think I had those trim pieces though. These trim pieces are going to make a great Chevelle get- together story - huh? BTW, I'm really starting to love the potential bidders ( or whatever you want to call them ) who pose shots that are veiled as questions. ![]() ![]() Steve

It'll be interesting to see if anyone pops for the $4,000-plus to make their '65 Chevelle stand out from the crowd. My first reaction is to say "no way" but...

There was a White one on 5th st in the olney section of philadelphia that had those vents on it. I knew then it was rare but didnt do anything about it. Ive read only one car but that cant be true because this car was seen in person by me 20 yrs ago!

I lived in Deleware County ( Media area ) at the time. Not too far from Olney. Wonder if we are talking about the same car........... ![]() Steve

I remember that Chevelle too. A woman owned it. I had a Z16 and a 65 El Camino so I was really into the 65 Chevelles back then too. If I remember correctly that Chevelle ended up in Hellers junkyard in NE philly too. I remeber seeing it there and thinking wow that looks like the one in the brochure. Thats gotta be rare. I did not know HOW rare it was..
