Default 69 motor mount question

My buddie just bought a 69 camaro with no motor,hes trying to install a 350 ,and tells me when he tries to put the engine in the car the holes to the engine mounts dont line up with the holes on the frame,he says the an inch off,any input would be great thanks kris...

Kris, I believe there are 4 differnt frame mounts for a 69 Camaro. Was this an original 6 or 8 cyl. car? (123 or 124 vin) Be sure he has the correct frame mounts first.
