Default 1968 L78 Nova

Any help appreciated
Looking at what appears to be a pretty nice 68 L78 car, guy claims it is a real ss, but VIN says 114. My research says this is possible, other research says no. Have had 6 Novas over the years, just finishing a 71 now-this is not clear this time
Drivetrain all matches on the 68
Comments welcome

Should read 11427 for a V8. There is no SS designation after 67. Is this a 4spd car? What's the build date? If it's a turbo 400 call me, and don't listen to anyone else.

If the draive train all matches ask for and post the follow

The complete engine pad stamping
The complete transmission stamping
The rear axle stamping
and the trim tag (all three lines)

Several of us here can decode these and let you know what we find.

I think that he is refering to the fact that most people do not know that the TH400 was available with the L78 in 68... 50 units Gibb COPO.
