does anyone know how many SS amx's that Shirley Shahan campaigned in 69? how many still exist?

53 seems to be the number floating around.As far as how many still exist I cant answer that.

no. but this weekend while at the dragstrip i got involved in a conversation with someone who told me he knew a guy who had a Shahan SS AMX for sale. clone or not i really dont know. sounds like the VIN's were consecutive so if i can figure out the sequence and where this car falls in place that will make or break it. i have some contact info and will hopefully be able to verify if there is any truth to it.

well, no dice. the car turned out to be a 72 hornet that was raced by Shahan in 79. not quite a SS AMX but still a pretty descent piece.

not %100 sure? only know that she raced this car in 79.
