I found out something that I have suspected for a long time, that my car was an M40 before it became an M21.
![]() Had to have the linkage replaced today, after 10 years of aggravation with never having it shift quite right. Turns out that the shifter plate was for a 3 speed trans. Now the shifter sits about an inch or so further back, so no more knuckle mashing shifting into 3rd. ![]() Big Question: How many Berger cars were sold with the M40? Copo.com does not list any. Any Help? ![]() Thanks, Andy
