Default Goodyear Wide Tread's or Firestone Sportscar 200's

I am about to make a move and buy some tires that were originally available for my 69 Z. I like the looks of the Goodyear Wide Tread, but just wanted to get your thoughts about both tires. Which one would you choose? How about the wearability between the two? I know I can purchase the Firestone Sportscar 200 tire at Coker, but where could I find the Goodyear Wide Tread? Thanks!

Thanks for the info Sam. You are not kidding, the Goodyear's are expensive, $220.00 a piece. I thought the Firestones were expensive..WOW

The folks over at NastyZ28 got a bulk buy going with Coker on Firestone wide ovals...maybe we can do the same here with Kelsey for the Goodyears

It's not tought to buy wholesale from Kelsey. Just order a couple sets and ask for wholesale price. It's only about 15% off, but a buck is a buck. I only buy for my own cars, but I get wholesale from Universal and Kelsey. Buy the Firestones from Universal and watch the Goodyears from Kelsey - the white letters can be very poor with too much grinding (letters too big). They seem good about making it right, though. Firestone redlines can be poor too with the redline varying in width around the tire. Sport Car 200's always seem OK.

Tony: You might remember, I like the 200's! PM me.

Talk to Don White (GTODON) He has some vintage and even some NOS rubber he may part with.
