Rubber mat removal

20 years from now we are still going to see renditions of that pic floating around... I think it's become a part of the car's documentation.

PS, i can tell you how to get that mat out in 6" chunks if that helps.

Schonyenko2...question...on the ones you have worked on was there the heavy Black tar sound dead'ner like a carpet car???? under the Mat

or just the brown 1/2" thick woolish type padding??? on the one I just pulled for Bill it had only the woolish brown stuff..and I thought while doing it this makes sense...as a car was equipped with the cheap rubber mat it only received the cheap padding to go with it...can you fill us in on what you have seen???

I believe that the carpet and "special body and hood insulation and luggage compartment mat" all came with the Custom Interior Package. So I would expect what you found in normal. However I have not lifted the mat on my Silver nova to verify it.
