I sure hope that we don't have to read each thread from the start instead of being taken to the newest posts like it is forcing me to do this morning? I like the quick reply box though.

What page you talkin' about, Pantera? It's working correctly for me, from the main page, but from the "active topics" page you gotta click on the date/time of the post on the far right as the link on the left is the name of the thread and if you click it you will go to the beginning of the thread...just more options!

At 7:30 ish it was not working right. Now it is back working like it should. It was not showing it in gray and was going back to the very start of a subject no mater how many pages it had. then I would have to scroll throught all of them to get to the end where the new ones were. What a POS that way. Glad it is working back like it should.

#2. Another question/Problem I seem to have, has been long posts where i have to scroll off the the right, sometimes two windows to read all the message. why will the screen not wrap like it should? I surmize it must be a link to a web page that it too long to read on the normal width of the screen? I don't understand why it would not wrap, but I can only wish that those that post one will use the "URL" place provided and then type in a descriptive heading of what they are posting. makes it much easier to view and with a descriptive word or two I would know if it was of interest to me or not?

#3. PS: I like the new reply box.

#4: The only thing I would like to see is the number of different subjects posts inside a main heading, to show the active # of subjects before I enter a subject of interest.

(ie) Each general disscussion may have 5 different subjects inside that were replied to last. Some with 1 to 5 posts each, but the intro count on the main heading, only shows the total of all new posts. It takes a lot of time to read all 25 entrys to clear the entire subject main heading counter back to zero.

Whew!! I hope that makes sense?) I use non threaded style. when I tried to use nested style I have to start with the first entry to get to the ones on the end. BTY:I use Netscape 7.2, to avoid all the spam and virus bugs that haunt I.E.

Don't get me wrong. I am not unhappy here. This is a premier site. I love the people on here. The knowledge and things of interest to me are wonderful. You are doing a great job. It just gets better all the time. If I can be of help in any way, Please let me know.

Jeff, Big thanks for you and the guys keeping this place running. I wouldn't want that on my shoulders and I'm sure others feel the same. Marc

Wish I could take credit but I cant. Just happened to be online with Joshua was doing all the work late last night. All I do is take out the trash now and then.

Is it possible to move the "Previous - Index - Next - Threaded" bar at the bottom of the page to just above the Quick Reply box? When I get to the bottom of each topic I use "Index" and "Next" a lot more often than I use Quick Reply, and I have to scroll down past the QR text box to get to the "PINT" command bar.

No complaint, just a request!

Thanks!!

Is there a reason we now need to sign in before we can get the posts added within last 24 hours? I check on atleast once a day and like to see what is new and go but now it requires me to go through several pages unless I want to have my computer always sign in for me.. sure, I trust microsoft to hold my passwords, etc.. don't you?? anyway, convenient it isn't..

Like everyone else, I love the site and appreciate all the work that goes into it and the only reason I give my 2 cents is to make it even better..

keep up the great work!!
