Default BBC Engine Tech Questions for you expert builders

Got a few tech questions...
1. Can you use small block LWP crank and water pump pulleys on a BBC long water pump setup? I've heard you can and see in Rick's First Gen that the 302 SBC LWP pulley interchanges with the 396 BBC LWP pulley.
2. Can you use a (used) BBC roller cam with a set of (Used) roller lifters? Both are in very good condition with no apparent wear on lobes or lifters? Can you go used cam with new roller lifters? I know this is not an option for flat tappet hydraulics and solid lift setups unless the lifters/lobes are kept in order.
Thanks in advance for your help. Hope to have my Yenko Clone on the road at the first of next year powered by a 496 stroker in place of a 427.

You can do it with the roller cam and roller lifters. we do it all the time with the race motors. Which type are they? If you are going to drive it on the street I would use isky red zone lifters. Good luck Sean

Cam is a Comp Cams Solid Roller. Lifters are Doug Herbert's from a previous build we did. Thanks.
