This may not be a techno/resto type question, but does anyone know of a BBC chrome valve cover that is tall enough to clear roller rockers yet looks like the factory ones in appearance? Got a source? Thanks.

I used double gaskets and the stock valve covers on a 427-435 vette I owned and had no problems with clearance. I don't recall what brand of roller rocker I used.

One of the locals here says the Crane gold series rollers will work with the stock covers...I can't swear to it, but that's what he tells me...

You might consider Comp Roller tip rockers. They use the stock ball and stud, and fit under stock covers--drippers and all.
